I'm often asked about the types of websites that we build for our clients, and these vary from personal brand websites and blogs, brochure websites, review and comparison websites, niche sites, author websites, artist websites, and e-commerce platforms.
The type of website – Mobile-responsive, conversion-focused, corporate brochure website designed and developed for a £28 million local agricultural cooperative company.
The tools used for this project – WordPress (open source), Genesis Framework for the base theme. Dynamik Website Builder for developing a custom child theme. Affinity Designer for custom background graphics. Visual Studio for writing and managing custom code, CSS for CTA buttons, and overall site styling. Thrive Architect for creating static page content for the services/information page.
The process – After an initial strategy meeting with the company, the project began with a simple wireframe mockup. The main design was carried out on our local servers and then transferred over to the client's domain for finalizing.
MoleValleyPlus.com's website is built on the robust and secure Genesis Framework platform, and boasts a completely unique, stand-alone, custom child theme.
The type of website – A personal brand and marketing consulting website platform for offering and selling digital services.
The website uses the Thrive Rise theme as base theme. Every part of the original theme was extensively customized to meet the client's design needs. The homepage was designed and developed from scratch to meet two primary goals for the client: Improved page loading and conversion rates.
The tools used for this project – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base, Thrive Architect for front-page and landing page design, Thrive Leads for lead generation, email-pop form design, and A/B split testing. Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo for custom logo, icons, and background graphics. Visual Studio for creating custom HTML buttons with CSS.
The process – RonSela.com was a complete redesign transformation project. After having a short Skype strategy meeting with the client, a simple wireframe mockup was created and finalised. The header and footer were designed and customised first, then the content pages after. The homepage boasts a multi-section layout, with custom CSS added for the CTA buttons and background graphic features. The icons and website logo were also designed in-house.
The photos and content were provided by the client.
The type of website – Brochure website for an Educational Technology company based in Pune, India.
Pursuitica.com showcases a fully mobile-responsive minimal design. The design flow and layout were optimized further to help the client improve visitor retention and increase overall conversion rates.
The tools used for this project – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base, Thrive Visual Editor for the design and layout of all static pages. Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo for creating and customizing icons, graphics and background elements. Visual Studio for writing custom HTML and CSS.
The process – This design project was developed from the ground up. After meeting with the client for a short strategy meeting, several wire-frame mock ups were created and the client was happy to select a design that was most fitting for his website and business goals.
The final design boasts a clean, minimal, multi-section fluid homepage layout, with personalized graphics. Additional custom HTML and CSS were created for CTA buttons, a contact form, and a dedicated comparison/pricing table.
For this project, we also provided web copy formatting, a full suite of custom graphics, SEO, page speed testing, AMP integration, and mobile responsive design.
The type of website – Web hosting review and comparison niche website.
The tools used – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base. Thrive Architect for front-page design and comparison landing pages. Affinity Designer for web graphics and simple 2-D logo design, Atom for creating custom CSS and HTML for the ghost-style CTA buttons.
The process – With this design we took a mobile-first approach, although the project only required a simple custom home landing page. The page had to primarily be mobile responsive to target a specific audience using small screen sizes to access the site.
Like most of the website design projects we've completed, HostingStep.com boasts a multiple-section custom front-page layout which started life as a wire-frame mockup design using the Macaw tool. Custom HTML and CSS were added to create personalized CTA buttons, image and graphic hover effects.
The type of website – Author and e-commerce personal brand website to promote and sell books.
The tools used – WordPress (open source). Thrive Rise Theme for the base. Thrive Architect for front-page, sales landing page, and product pages. Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo for creating custom graphics, logo, hero-image section.
The process – AdeolaSonola.net came to life from the ground up. After researching various author websites, a wireframe sketch was created for the client. After selecting a potential design the site was built relatively quickly to meet the client's deadline.
Once the site was launched, continuous improvements were made and additional pages and building blocks were built into the site, all whilst collecting user-data.
The type of website – Small business and digital marketing advice website.
The tools used – WordPress (open source). Thrive Rise Theme for the base. Thrive Architect for the front-page, sales landing pages. Thrive Leads for lead generation form designs and conversion page testing. Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo for logo, icons, web graphics, hero-section. Atom Code Editor for creating custom CSS for the template pages and theme.
The process – This was a redesign project, and like all the projects we undertake, a strategy and wireframe process was the first order. The footer and header sections were created first, then the front-page and other landing pages were crafted using Thrive Architect, and many pieces of custom code were added to the site to change the overall appearance.
The project also involved creating and testing opt-in forms, pop-up forms, calls-to-action, as well as building additional custom sales pages to showcase the clients range of digital products.
The type of website – A personal brand business consultancy mobile-responsive website, lead generation platform, and blog.
The tools used – WordPress (open-source), Thrive Pressive Theme for the base. Thrive Architect for custom homepage and landing pages. Affinity Designer, Macaw, and PhotoScape X for wireframing, logo design, and image optimization.
The process – SojiFagade.com boasts a fixed design and custom layout for the homepage. The project was first visualised in Macaw (wire-frame tool) before migrating and finalizing the rest of the design in WordPress.
Some custom HTML and CSS were included to make the icons and buttons unique to the site and to improve click rate.
Other landing pages that were designed and built into the site included: A podcast landing page, custom blog archive page, tools and resources page, and dedicated contact page.
The type of website – Mentor, public speaker, author website and blog, with mobile-responsive and AMP.
The tools used – WordPress (open-source), Thrive Pressive Theme, Thrive Architect, Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, PhotoScape X.
The process – This website project boasts a very simple multiple-section homepage layout. Custom HTML, CSS, and background graphic were added for a hero-section. Personalised buttons, and web forms. A simple logo and graphics pack were also required for the site.
