On this page, you will find a collection of design projects that I’ve recently completed for my clients.
The types of websites I’ve had the pleasure to work on include personal brand sites/blogs, brochure websites, review and comparison websites, niche sites, author websites, and websites for creative individuals/businesses and more.
Type of website – Fully mobile-responsive, conversion focused, brochure website for a local agricultural cooperative company.
Tools used for this project – WordPress (open source), Genesis Theme Framework for base theme, Child Themer for creating the custom child theme, Affinity Designer for editing and customizing graphics. Atom App for writing code for contact form, CTA buttons, and site layout, Thrive Architect for static services/information page design and layout.
Process – The project began with a simple wireframe mockup. After the design was finalized, it was then migrated to WordPress where the rest of the design and development took place.
MoleValleyPlus.com is built on the robust and secure Genesis Theme Framework platform, boasting a unique in-house custom coded child theme.
Type of website – Personal brand business, marketing consulting for companies and startups website.
The website uses a fully-customized responsive Thrive theme template, with a completely redesigned front-page optimized for improved page loading performance and improved conversion rates.
Tools used for this project – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base, Thrive Architect Editor for front-page and landing pages, Thrive Leads for lead generation and email-pop form design and testing, Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo for custom logo, icons, and graphics design. Brackets for creating custom HTML buttons with CSS.
Process – RonSela.com was a complete redesign transformation project. After creating some simple wireframe mockups, a final design was picked by the client. The homepage boasts a multi-section layout, with custom HTML and CSS added for personalizing CTA buttons and background elements. The graphic icons and website logo were also designed in-house.
Photography and images were provided by the client which we professionally edited and optimized to improve loading speed before using on the website.
Website type – Brochure website for an Educational Technology company, conversion focused responsive design.
Pursuitica.com showcases a fully mobile responsive minimal design. The design flow and layout were optimized further to help the client improve visitor retention and increase overall conversion rates.
Tools used for this project – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base, Thrive Visual Editor for the design and layout of all static pages, Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo for designing and customizing icons and graphics, Atom code editor for writing custom HTML and CSS code.
Process – This website design project was completed from the ground up. After creating several wire-frame mock ups, the client was happy to select a design that was fitting for his goals and objectives.
The site design boasts a clean, minimal, multi-section fluid homepage layout, and personalized graphics. Additional custom HTML and CSS were written for CTA buttons, contact form, and comparison/pricing table.
The project also included web copy formatting and content organizing, web graphics design and optimization, SEO, page speed testing, AMP and mobile responsive design.
Website type – Web hosting review and comparison website, eCommerce responsive design.
Tools used – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base, Thrive Architect for front-page design and comparison landing pages. Affinity Designer for web graphics and simple 2-D logo design, Atom for creating customized ghost buttons.
Process – The project only required a custom homepage mobile responsive design, a custom comparison/review landing page and logo design.
Like most of the website design projects I've completed, HostingStep.com boasts a multiple-section custom front-page layout which started life as a wire-frame mockup design using the Macaw tool. Custom HTML and CSS were added to create customized CTA buttons, image and, graphic hover effects.
Website type – Author website, responsive design, eCommerce website.
Tools Used – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base, Thrive Architect for design front-page, sales landing page, and product pages. Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo for creating custom graphics, logo, hero-image section.
Process – AdeolaSonola.net was a complete design from scratch project. The client's site design was conceived from a simple wireframe mock-up. Much of the design was created using Thrive Architect, with custom HTML and CSS added to personalize the homepage signup forms, and CTA buttons.
Since the client's main conversion goal was to showcase and sell her books online, additional landing pages were created with full-product descriptions, book mock-up images, and Buy Now buttons.
Website type – Niche, small business marketing website, eCommerce website, conversion focused responsive design.
Tools Used – WordPress (open source), Thrive Rise Theme for the base. Thrive Architect for the front-page, sales landing pages. Thrive Leads for lead generation forms designs and conversion testing. Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo for logo, icons, web graphics, hero-section. Atom Code Editor for creating custom CSS for background, layout adjustment, CTA buttons.
Process – The initial redesign of Small-BizSense came from a wireframe mock-up. The front-page and other landing pages were crafted using Thrive Architect and many pieces of custom HTML and CSS added to the site overall for further personlization.
The project also involved designing and testing opt-in forms, pop-up forms, calls-to-action, as well as crating custom sales pages for the clients range of digital products.
Website type – Personal brand business consultancy website, blog configuration, conversion focused responsive design.
Tools Used – WordPress (open-source), Thrive Pressive Theme. Thrive Architect, Affinity Designer, Macaw, and PhotoScape X.
Process – SojiFagade.com boasts a fixed designed and custom layout for the homepage. The design was first visualized in Macaw (wire-frame) before migrating and finalizing in WordPress.
Some custom HTML and CSS were added to make the icons and buttons unique to the site and to improve conversion rates.
The project also consisted of developing and configuring a custom podcast landing page, blog archive page, tools and resources page, and contact page.
Website performance optimization included page speed and mobile-friendliness testing.
Website type – Mentor, public speaker, author website and blog, mobile-responsive design.
Tools Used – WordPress (open-source), Thrive Pressive Theme, Thrive Architect, Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, PhotoScape X.
Process – This website project boasts a very simple multiple-section homepage layout. Custom HTML and CSS added for hero-image, buttons, and forms. Simple logo and graphics were also required for the site.
