Web Design / Graphic Design Terms Of Service (Updated 5th December 2016)
#1. New client questionnaire
Important: Currently I am only able to work with solopreneurs, bloggers, internet marketers, business coaches, consultants, authors, artists, teachers, public speakers and small to medium sized online businesses.
Currently my web design services is not available to customers in EU countries.
Once you have filled in the new client questionnaire form located here, I will respond and request we have a short Skype consultation at a suitable date and time for you. (More information below on this under “Communication”).
My custom web design rate is: $100 per hour (None-negotiable).
Once I’ve received your submitted form, I will get in touch with you within 24-hours (via email) to arrange our FREE 1-hour consultation.
The consultation can take place via Skype or Email. Those are my preferred methods of communication.
I also use the web and mobile application #slack to communicate with my clients and any team members that I’ve added to the design project.
This is how I keep everyone in the loop on progress being made on a project. I would recommend you download this app on your desktop or mobile device.
Please note: I prefer not to use Skype to communicate with my clients on work progress as this takes up too much of my time. If your inquiry is extremely urgent, you can book a Skype call with me for a small additional fee. This additional fee will be added to the final amount of your web design project total cost.
#3. Deposits, payments & deadlines
Once we have had our initial Free 1-hour consultation together (or online meeting), I will email you a copy of the design project contract shortly after.
You are required to read and sign this contract within 14-days of receiving it.
Deposit required (If applicable)
For smaller projects (Under $1,000), a $250 none-refundable deposit is required before work can commence on your web design project.
For larger projects ($1,500 and over), a $500 none-refundable deposit is required before work can commence on your web design project.
Once I’ve received your deposit and signed project contract, I will begin working on your website immediately.
Once your project completion has met it’s deadline*, a final invoice will be sent via Wave. A final payment request will also be sent via PayPal for the remaining balance. Payment is required within 5 working days.
Important note: Please be aware that if you have a ‘realistic’ deadline to meet, you need to state this clearly in the “provide more information” field in the New Client Questionnaire form. Please do not create a project, or inform me that you have a deadline to meet after you’ve signed the project contract. I like to know in advance so that I can ensure I don’t take on more projects whilst working on yours.
Paying in instalments
For small and large web design projects, if you wish to pay in instalments, you can do so for every 10 hours of work completed on your website, after the deposit.
(Example: $100 x first 10 hours completed = $1,000, minus $500 deposit paid = $500 invoiced via PayPal. $100 x second block of 10 hours completed = $1,000 invoiced via PayPal, and so forth)
#4. Turn around time
Generally turn around time depends on the scope of work required, however I aim to complete small to medium sized projects within 6 to 8 weeks. Larger projects can take up to 10 to 12 weeks or more.
#5. Revisions, ongoing work
If for any reason your project takes longer than the time estimated for completion, i.e. ongoing work, multiple revisions required, additional pages, services etc. I will simply continue billing you at my hourly rate. See above for hourly rate details.
#6. Website maintenance and diagnostics services
If you are contacting me with regards to an issue you’re experiencing with your website, my website maintenance and diagnostics service fee is $30 per hour.

Due to the nature of this service, refunds are not available.
