Finally, a real Content Marketing Course for Bloggers and Small Business Owners.
OK folks so this week I have another awesome little review and recommendation for you.
A while ago I got the opportunity to get my head around a brand new content marketing video training course called, “Content Marketing On Steroids“.
But before I start talking to you about this course in more depth, let me tell you a little story which you might be able to relate to.
When I started blogging way back in 2010, content marketing was kind of starting to become the talk of town, although unknowingly to me and many others no doubt, it had been around for many years before that.
So I started blogging in more ways than many, by following what others were doing at the time. I would often approach my content creation and blog writing with the attitude of a sales person.
It was a mistake for sure…
I would often churn out post after post of what I would call today “useless crappy sales like content”, stuff that offered little in value to my readers, stuff that wasn’t really engaging either, and stuff that failed to solve very many problems for anyone reading it.
Most of these low value posts would be in the form of my product reviews, which would often be short 600 word long articles that went on about how amazing a brand, product or service was.
I failed to make any of those kinds of posts engaging, or failed to demonstrate how using a product or service could solve a problem for somebody using it.
Can you relate to any of that at all?
Google loved my trash…
Although all this amazing garbage content product reviews that I was pushing out was ranking well in search engines and what not, conversion wise I was really suffering.
OK sure I had one or two sales here and there, but it was nothing compared to what I’m actually achieving today. Today I’m able to make content including online reviews convert a lot better, and with a lot less traffic too.
How? Simply by making my content super engaging, and by doing content marketing the right way.
You see, content marketing can be so darn rewarding and profitable when done right, there’s no denying that, and I know there’s a lot of people out there clinging on to those old marketing tactics hoping that someday they’ll get the results they’re looking for.
Today it’s about creating engaging content that addresses people’s needs, it’s about creating content that solves problems and creates connections.
Its about educating people, not about being ‘pushy’ or ‘salesy’, or about ‘pitching’ all kinds of bullsh&t to customers. The thing is online consumers are respectively a lot smarter than that today.
If I had known more about content marketing 5 years ago, I’d probably be a lot better off today, but hey-ho it’s never too late, and this course that I’m about to share with you today, is just what the doctor ordered.
Content marketing for bloggers and small business owners
Whether you’re a blogger, or, and a small business owner, most of the old “high risk” tricks of marketing is out and dry for good, I’m sure you’ll have heard that from a lot of marketing professionals.
I say most because list building and email marketing may be old school, but it’s still very much in the now, and still the most powerful and widely used strategy being used today.
However, pushy and other expensive advertising methods using ads, banners, PPC etc in my experience doesn’t work as well as they used to. It might still work for some businesses and individuals, but it’s certainly no way to gain customer loyalty as far as I’m concerned, I’m sure you’ll agree right?Pushy and expensive advertising methods doesn't work as well, content marketing worksClick To Tweet
Like I said, consumers are far more cleverer these days and simply look past silly ads. As an affiliate blogger, I’ve seen this happen way too often, I’ve learned this the hard way too, which is also why you’ll notice that I don’t use very many, if any at all, affiliate ads, banners of any kind on my blog.
So folks, whether you’re marketing and promoting third party affiliate products and services, or your own, bragging on about how great YOUR business is, or how amazing your products or services are, compared to your competitors really doesn’t work. It’s kind of embarrassing actually…
So what works then?
You know it… “Content marketing” works, it’s simple as that.
Content Marketing On Steroids Course: Who is it for?
The Content Marketing On Steroid course was created by Iris Signals founder Kostas Chiotis, someone I’ve been connected with for a long time via my blog and social media, and someone I’m fully aware of who knows what he’s talking about in his field of expertise.
The course is an absolute must for bloggers of all levels, and small business owners that have a website, and for those who really want to grasp a better and clearer understanding of content marketing today, and how it can be used to take a blog or business to the next level.
I started and completed the course myself a good few months ago now, and it has been immensely valuable to say the least, even for someone who’s been blogging and marketing for almost 5 years, and running an online business for over 10 years.
A lot of things have changed in recent years as far as online marketing goes, and this course will get you up to speed and educated the right way in content marketing.
If you already have some knowledge and experience in the marketing field, that’s great, because you’ll still find this course as valuable as I have for sure, with some excellent tips, ideas, strategies, theories to implement.
What I love most about this course is that it’s very easy to consume, a complete newbie will have no problem digesting the content within the course, and being in video format, you can literally complete it in your own time.
So what does The Content Marketing On Steroids Course consist of?
The course consists of 5 power modules, a total of 22 high quality training videos and over 3 hours of valuable and educational content, plus a ton of other great bonus training material and tools to get your hands on.
Each video is between 5 to 10 minutes in length which makes for some very easy watching like I said, there is also a 20 minute video in module 5.
Here’s a run down of the modules and training videos within the course:
- What you can expect from this course.
- Designing a content action plan.
- Define your content marketing goals.
- Competitive research and analysis.
- Creating your blogging strategy.
- Finding influential bloggers.

So here’s what you need to know:
- If you’re blogging with the aim of taking your internet marketing to the next level. This course is a must!
- If you want to achieve more than just a few thousand visitors per month to your blog or website, and to generate far more than just a few sales per month as well, this course is a must!
- If you’re planning on providing a service, or to sell your own products through your blog? This course is an absolute must!
The cost of the course and enrolling
Currently the cost of enrolling in the Content Marketing On Steroids course will set you back $97.
Now just as far as the price goes, this is my honest personal opinion for the purpose of this review only. I personally feel that the course would probably be a lot more attractive at let’s say $67. That’s just me being critical here.
I’m not saying that the course isn’t worth $97 because it is! You do get a lot of value here and I know that Kostas has put a lot of work and research into making this the best he can! I just feel $67 would appear more attractive to people wanting to enrol.
So for $97 you get the entire video training course, plus all the bonus content and materials. Additionally, the lifetime membership means you’ll get access to the course when ever updates and new material is added.
In addition to all of this, if you’re not entirely satisfied with the course, there is a 60-day money back guarantee, so you really can’t lose.
Pros And Cons
- Immensely valuable for bloggers and small business owners of all levels wanting to learn more about content marketing.
- Course is made up of easy-to-watch training videos.
- Consists of 22 lectures and over 3 hours of content.
- Bonus training content and tools.
- Lifetime access.
- 60-day money back guarantee!
- None really, just my personal thoughts on the price structure.
When I took the course some months back I already had some basic knowledge of content marketing. But this course opened up my eyes to a whole new meaning of doing effective content marketing.
Would I recommend enrolling? Absolutely! What’s more, when you enrol, you’ll get lifetime membership, like I said that means when ever there’s new content being added to the course or new updates, you’ll get access to it free of charge.
This is a well constructed and well organised course, and put together by someone with a lot of credible knowledge, experience and expertise in this field. Kostas Chiotis knows what he’s talking about for sure and has done a fantastic job all round with putting together this video course.
There are very few courses on content marketing that make it fun, easy to understand and extremely valuable.
If you want to enrol, which I of course highly recommend, just hit the button below to signup.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this review, take care for now and enjoy the course. Huge thanks and congratulations to Kostas Chiotis for putting together this course.
